Banana Split Magic Trick

THE EFFECT: The magician shows a normal banana that has not yet been peeled. Anyone can check out the banana. By the use of his mind the magician claims he can cut the banana into 6 slices. He proves he has done this by getting a spectator to peel the banana only to find it has been sliced!


THE SECRET: Before the trick you need to prepare the banana. You need to carefully take a needle, stick it into the banana and slice it by waving the needle backwards and forwards inside the banana.


Repeat this along the banana until you have finished about 6 slices. After that you’re now ready to perform this amazing trick. The rest of the performance is just showmanship pretending to slice the banana with the power of your mind.


TIP: Use a small gauge needle so the holes are not noticeable. Also try and place the needle in the dark parts of the banana to hide the holes.
