Disappearing Coin

THE EFFECT: You place a coin on your palm and cover it with a handkerchief. You go round to several spectators to feel under the handkerchief to prove it is still there. Amazingly the coin vanishes in spite of the fact that several people checked it!


THE SECRET: Place the coin on your palm and the handkerchief over the coin. Go to several people and ask them to feel the coin under the handkerchief.


The last person you approach, unknown to the audience is actually in on the trick. They pretend to feel the coin and acknowledge the coin is there but actually take if off your palm secretly.


All that is left for you to do is pull the handkerchief away with a flourish and your hands are shown completely empty, the coin has disappeared!


TIP: This trick can be performed with any small object, such as rings, keys, cards etc.
