The Switch 'n' Double

THE EFFECT: You show the audience a coin in your hand. You tell them about the French Drop sleight of hand, but how there is a better one. You clearly put the coin into you opposite fist.

You jerk both fists quickly and the coin has traveled into the other hand, leaving the opposite empty! For the final you put the coin back into the original fist and it doubles leaving two!

THE SECRET: This trick uses two coins. All you need to do in preparation is palm one coin in one of your hands and lick the back of the other hand. Tell the audience about the French Drop and how amazing it looks but that you can do better.

With your hand palm down make a fist with the wet hand and act like you are putting the coin into your fist. You are really sliding it onto the back of your hand and pressing making it stick.

Now you can show your hand empty and let the audience see the already palmed coin in your other hand. Next put the palmed coin into your fist with the coin stuck on the back. This time really put the coin into your fist, but take the coin off the back of your hand and slide it into your fist too. Now you can open your fist and show that it has doubled!!
