Eighth one down is your card!

This is a good magic trick to wow the crowd.

THE EFFECT: You ask a person to pick a card. Then after you cut it and riffle a few times saying " A card will be showing after im done." and once you see the card it will be an indicator telling where their card is. Once you go down that many times its their card!

THE SECRET: First off, you need to do one thing. That is find ANY 8 card and make it the Eighth card going up from the deck (that means on the eighth one place it there),then just turn it around so that when you look through the deck that 8 is the only one showing. Now you're set.
Now tell the spectator to pick any card (don't show the eight). While they pick it, tell them to remember it. Then tell them to put that on the top of the deck. Then after they do, do a complete cut. Now riffle through the deck and say "There will be one card showing after im done." Riffle through it like 2 or 3 times and say "There. I will show you the card." Then it should be the eight. They might think that "oh your bad that wasn't my card." Well say "That is an indicator saying that your card is the eighth one down. So place the eight in view then count off: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 while placing the cards down. On the eighth one flip the card over and say "Was that your card?" and they would say "Umm. Erm. Ya!!!!" It doesn't take much practice but, you'll be a pro at it on like the 5th time practicing!

P.S. I don't think you can do this with any other card but you may try!
