HANDKERCHIEF COIN TRICK

THE EFFECT: The magician shows a handkerchief and a coin. The magician places the coin into the handkerchief, then shakes it and the coin has completely disappeared.


THE SECRET: You secretly wrap a rubber band around your thumb before the performance. Place the handkerchief into that hand. With your other hand place the coin in the handkerchief.


Under the cover of the handkerchief secretly take the rubber band off your thumb and onto the handkerchief so the rubber band surrounds the coin through the handkerchief.


Give it a good shake and it will make it look like the coin has vanished. The coin is really held in the handkerchief by the rubber band. Make the coin reappear by reversing the above moves!
