Sponge Ball From Thin Air

THE EFFECT: The magician shows a spectator that his hands are completely empty from both sides. He rolls his sleeves all the way up to prove there is nothing up them.


The magician then puts his hands together and stars to rub, he tells a spectator to blow on his closed hands and opens them to reveal a sponge ball!


THE SECRET: First place a sponge ball in the crotch of your elbow (left or right). You may need to practice making your hand movements seem normal.


Begin by showing your hands completely empty. As you roll up your sleeves secretly pick up the sponge ball and quickly bring your hands together. As the spectator has already seen your hands completely empty they will not suspect anything.


Bring your hands together squashing the sponge ball and get the spectator to blow. Open your hands to reveal the ball!
