Static Cigarettes

THE EFFECT: The magician takes two cigarettes and places them side by side. The magician rubs his hands on the table to build a charge of electricity and suddenly, the cigarettes start to roll towards the magicians bare hands. No strings attached.


THE SECRET: While the spectators focus on your hand motion, you secretly blow in between the cigarettes. The cigarettes will roll toward your hands. If you don't smoke (or are too young to!) you can use cut off straws or round pens or pencils.


TIP: Do this at a party where the sound of your blowing is blocked by the music. This seems simple but is a very cool effect to amaze your friends.
