Sticky Pencil
THE EFFECT: The magician takes a pencil and puts it on the palm of his hand (back of the hand facing the audience, thumb pointing to the sky). He squeezes his wrist with his other hand and amazingly the pencil sticks to his palm. If someone asks the magician to take his other arm away he does and the pencil still sticks!
THE SECRET: You need to be wearing a watch or a wrist band. On the concealed side to the audience you need to place another pencil or a fork behind the watch or wristband. Take a pencil and place it behind the fork or other pencil and your palm to hold it there. At the same time squeeze your wrist with your other hand.
Spectators may think you are holding the pencil with one of your fingers but you can remove your hand and the pencil still stays.
TIP: First show the trick with you holding your wrist and using your pointer finger to hold the pencil up. Jokingly show how the trick is done (if they have not guessed it already). Then do it again but with a ruler or fork in your watch strap. That way you can then remove your hand and the pencil will still stay!
This trick is perfect for little kids!
