THE EFFECT: You show you spectator a red Queen and have them hold it between their thumb and index finger face down. Then you show a black Queen and slide it in and out above the red Queen, leaving them the black Queen face down between their thumb and index finger and you take the red Queen.


You then ask them to guess which one is red and which one is black. After they guess you have them turn both cards over and both Queens have turned into two Aces!


THE SECRET: First you set up the Ace of Spades on the bottom of the deck then on the top you place a black Queen and on top of that you place the Ace of Clubs and finally the red Queen.


To start the trick you show the spectator the red Queen and have them hold it between the thumb and index finger face down. You double lift the Ace of Clubs and the black Queen as one and show it as the Queen.


Put them down back on top of the deck and take off only the Ace of Clubs then do the sliding motion and then leave the Ace between the spectators thumb and index finger and take out the red Queen and place back on top of the deck.


While doing so say something like "Wouldn’t it have been amazing if I had switch those two cards on you?" Take the Ace of Spades from the bottom and place it next to the Ace of Clubs in the spectator’s hands face down.


Have them guess which is the black and which is the red Queen then have them turn it over and watch their reactions!
